David Bowie + Louis Vuitton = L'invitation au voyage

Mi querido David Bowie es el protagonista de la nueva campaña de Louis Vuitton, que se complementa con un cortometraje, L'invitation au voyage. La partenaire de Bowie es la modelo Arizona Muse y se muestra a ambos en un escenario absolutamente estético: un baile de máscaras en Venecia, en el que lo bello, la haut couture, la ostentación se convierten en los elementos principales. L'invitation au voyage es el segundo capítulo de una impresionante historia de Louis Vuitton, en el que se mezclan la fantasía y el drama. La canción "I'd Rather Be High", del último disco de Bowie es la encargada de su banda sonora.

A partir de hoy, día 7 de noviembre, se puede ver mediante la nueva aplicación "Louis Vuitton Pass", disponible en App Store y Google Play: vuitton.lv/LVPass . Espero que os guste!

My dear David Bowie is the star of the new campaign for Louis Vuitton, which is complemented by a short film, L'invitation au voyage. Bowie's partner is the model Arizona Muse and shows both on stage absolutely aesthetic: a masked ball in Venice, where the beautiful, the haut couture, ostentation become the main elements. David Bowie is

Tomorrow, March 23, opens the exhibition David Bowie is, from 23 March to 28 July at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, in collaboration with Gucci and Sennheiser. Bowie is and has been a tireless creator of multiple alter ego, many of which have inspired the greatest fashion design, as in the case of Jean Paul Gaultier, who was inspired by this great artist to the gateway spring-summer.

It's one of my role of worship in the full sense of the term, both for his talent and genius, and its versatility, being the most chameleonic artist, for his much-discussed ambiguity, etc.. Anyway, I could not devote a special post to David Bowie, on the occasion of the retrospective dedicated V & A, and certainly worth a visit. I will try to make room in my schedule to go even a weekend, Bowie because I can not be so easily escape...

Mañana, 23 de marzo, se inaugura la exposición David Bowie is, del 23 de marzo al 28 de julio, en el museo Victoria & Albert de Londres, en colaboración con Gucci y Sennheiser. Bowie es y ha sido un incansable creador de múltiples alter ego, muchos de los cuales han inspirado a los más grandes del diseño de la moda, como es el caso de Jean Paul Gaultier, que se ha inspirado en este gran artista para la pasarela de primavera-verano. 

Es uno de mis referentes de culto en toda la extensión del término, tanto por su talento y genio, como por su versatilidad, por ser el artista más camaleónico , por su tan comentada ambigüedad, etc. En fin, no podía dejar de dedicar un post muy especial a David Bowie, con motivo de la retrospectiva que le dedica V&A, y que seguro que vale la pena visitar. Intentaré hacer un hueco en mi agenda para ir aunque sea un fin de semana, porque Bowie no se me puede escapar tan fácilmente...
