Buenos días! Mientras hacía mi labor de "investigación", en busca de nuevos rincones fashion, me he tropezado agradablemente con éste. ¿Os gusta NY? Si es así y tenéis programado un viaje a esta fabulosa ciudad, no podéis perderos al menos entrar en una de las tiendas con más reputación de Manhattan. Se trata de "Jeffrey". Aquí se pueden encontrar marcas nacionales e internacionales, con lo último en zapatos, ropa, accesorios, fragancias y beauty products en general. Happy Thanksgiving!

El Día de Acción de Gracias que tantas veces hemos visto en las películas americanas, se celebra hoy, cuarto jueves de noviembre, aunque originariamente tenía lugar el último jueves de este mismo mes. En Canadá, se celebra el segundo lunes de octubre.

Así pues, hoy la mayoría de los norteamericanos festejan esta noche con reuniones familiares en sus casas donde preparan un banquete, en que el plato principal es un pavo enorme asado. Se sirve con salsa de arándanos y, como complemento, platos de verduras como judías verdes. Como postre, se acostumbra a ofrecer pastel de manzana.

On Thanksgiving Day we have so often seen in american films, celebrated today, fourth Thursday in November, although originally took place on the last Thursday of this month. In Canada, it is celebrated on the second Monday of October.

So today most americans celebrate tonight with family gatherings in their homes where they prepare a feast, in which the main course is a huge roasted turkey. Served with cranberry sauce and, in addition, vegetable dishes like green beans. For dessert, it is customary to offer apple pie.

Somehow the Thanksgiving Day starts the holiday season, and the next day, known as Black Friday, all trade offer rebates, with the influx of a large number of buyers and the sales made that day are provide an indicator of how will the rest of days during the holidays.
