Savile Row Style

Buenos días de sábado! Hoy me apetecía publicar un post relacionado con la ciudad que me vio nacer y que tanto adoro: Londres. En concreto, hoy nos centraremos en el estilo "Savile Row". Savile Row es la calle más famosa dedicada a la sastrería a medida en el mundo. Y en este característico estilo se han inspirado grandes diseñadores, como Tommy Hilfiger, para presentar en su día la colección otoño invierno 2013-14. Los rasgos que mejor lo definen son los clásicos masculinos, como los cuadros "Príncipe de Gales", en azul, blanco, rojo, rayas diplomáticas o patas de gallo en blanco y negro. No  obstante, Hilfiger añade nuevos elementos como gorros de lana, botas altas, abrigos cortos o sombreros de cuadros.

Savile Row se une con Ivy League en esta colección para mujeres, que combina lo colegial con una versión muy particular de la tradicional sastrería británica. En ésta, hay una fuerte presencia del movimiento mod, estilo Beatles, Twiggy, grandes iconos de los años 60 en Londres.

Good morning, Saturday! Today I wanted to publish a post related to the city of my birth and I adore London. Specifically, today we will focus in style "Savile Row". Savile Row is the most famous street dedicated to tailoring in the world. And in this distinctive style have inspired great designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, to present at the time the autumn winter 2013-14 collection. The characteristics that best define what are the classic male, as the squares "Prince of Wales", in blue, white, red, pinstripe or crow's feet in black and white. However, Hilfiger adds new elements like wool hats, high boots, short coats or hats squares print.

Savile Row meets Ivy League in this collection for women, which combines college with a very particular version of the traditional British tailoring. In this, there is a strong presence of the mod movement, style Beatles, Twiggy, great icons of the 60's in London.

An angel named Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

If there is a model that is succeeding so scandalously brilliant, this is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. A British model who has worked for Tommy Hilfiger and Burberry's, and in November 2009 received the wings to be one of the "Angels of Victoria's Secret". This month has been the cover of Vogue Brazil. The truth is that beauty and perfection that has its body measures makes it an absolute winner as well as the cover model fashion show. Personally, I love her style so much when out for a walk with her boyfriend of the moment, with jeans and a basic tee, as if posing for the camera, since one of its main features is its natural elegance, as you know, the elegance it or not, regardless of other factors such as having a good pocket. Si hay una modelo que está triunfando de manera escandalosamente fulgurante, esa es Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Una modelo británica que ha trabajado para Tommy Hilfiger y Burberry's, y en noviembre de 2009 recibió las alas para ser uno de los "Ángeles de Victoria's Secret". Este mes ha sido la portada de Vogue Brasil. La verdad es que la belleza que posee y la perfección de sus medidas la convierte en una triunfadora absoluta tanto como modelo de portada como de fashion show. Personalmente, me encanta su estilazo tanto cuando sale a pasear con su novio de turno, con jeans y una camiseta básica, como cuando posa para la cámara, ya que una de sus principales características es su elegancia natural y, como bien sabéis, la elegancia se tiene o no, independientemente de otros factores como el tener un buen bolsillo.
